Statement of the Board of Management of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. to quality

Technická inšpekcia had been established on January the 1st 1995 and from the 14th July 2006 the legal form of Technická inšpekcia, state contribution based organisation (Identification number of organisation 3174 4567) have been changed to Technická inšpekcia, a.s. Joint Stock Company (Identification number of organisation 3665 3004).
Technická inšpekcia, a.s. Joint Stock Company have been inscribed in Company Register at County Court Bratislava 1 in Section: Sa Insert no.: 3919/B on 14th July, 2006.

According to § 34 section 4 of the Act no. 124/2006 Coll. from the date of Joint Stock Company origin all duties and discretions resulting from legal relations related with Technická inšpekcia, state contribution based organisation, have been transposed on Joint Stock Company.

According to § 39 of the Act no. 124/2006 Coll. and according to Authorisation issued by National Labour Inspectorate no. OPO-000001-06 Technická inšpekcia, a.s., Joint Stock Company in present time is sole authorised legal entity for verification of fulfilment of technical equipment safety requirements according to § 14 of the Act no. 124/2006 Coll.

Technická inšpekcia, a.s. have concluded insurance of legal responsibility for damages caused by its activity. Insurance is covered by insurance contract no. 3117021322 concluded in UNIQUA for total amount of 327 756,75 EUR. The place of insurance is the world except for USA, Canada and Australia. Insurance events outside the Europe are limited to amount of 16 596,96 EUR. The amounts have been set with the view of real values of costs for equipment repairs in case of damages caused by inspector faults during inspection and certification activity.

The competences and inspection activities of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. are defined and specified:

  • in § 14 point a) of the Act no. 124/2006 Coll. on Occupational Safety and Health Protection at Work and on the amendment and supplement to selected laws;
  • in Foundation Charter issued by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family.
