Protection of confidential information
Employee shall maintain secrecy on information obtained in the course of his or her working activities and which in interests of employer or other organisations concerned shall not be communicated to other persons as well as after termination of labour relationship. Technická inšpekcia, a.s. have adopted provisions to ensure the confidentiality of information handled by employees of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. Employees at conclusion of labour contract obligate to keep confidentiality on information obtained in the course of his or her working activities. They also obligate to keep such procedure after termination of labour relationship. The procedure of obligation is given in internal Guideline for employment, training and examinations and personnel rating of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. employees. The rules for receipt, manipulation, sending and keeping of documents are given in internal Guideline for registry and internal Guideline for circulation of records at Technická inšpekcia, a.s.
Undertaken provisions establish the system of general protection of all records, reports, standpoints, opinions and documentation especially in those where occurs information on processes of inspection and/or certification activities, negotiations, on processes and evaluation of tests and other information obtained during activity performance.
At regional offices of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. there is implemented special regime on document manipulation. When inspector after ending of working hours leaves the office room where is his/her work table he/she shall to leave documents there and lock the work table. If he/she occupy office room alone there is obligation to lock the room during the short time leaving of room. Computer technique used for processing of inspection activity results is protected again misuse by password protection. The system of protection and data security on computer stations is given by relevant internal Guideline.
Confidential information is considered as follows:
- Information in documents including inspection records, expert standpoints, certificates, inspection reports, inspection certificates
- Documents intended strictly for internal use
- Confidential information of Technická inšpekcia, a.s. – personal data, payroll accounting data and cash flow data.
