Assessment of Design Documentation – Lifting Equipment
Section 5 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Technická inšpekcia, a.s., as an Authorized Legal Entity (OPO), assesses the design documentation of classified lifting equipment prior to its manufacture or installation. Assessment is mandatory for Group A and Group B equipment pursuant to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Scope of Submitted Documentation
- Manufacturer’s name, address, and ID number (IČO)
- Equipment characteristics, including group classification
- Description and function of the equipment
- Assembly and main component drawings
- Calculations for critical structural components
- Risk assessment documentation
- List of applied regulations and standards
- Additional documents according to Annex No. 2 to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
- For permanent crane runways, also documents according to Annex No. 2, Section C to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Technická inšpekcia, a.s. will issue an Expert Opinion on the Documentation if the documentation complies with safety and technical requirements.
