    3. welder certificates and approval of welding procedures in accordance with relevant regulations,
    4. description of the operating method,
    5. list of dangerous substances or their groups, or the tank code, to be transported in the equipment, indicating substances with the highest vapor pressure at reference temperature and substances with the highest density at 15 °C and 50 °C or at operating temperature if higher, and specifying the corresponding values,
    6. equipment drawing with main dimensions,
    7. schematic drawing of piping systems,
    8. technical data of the equipment required for calculation,
    9. calculation, if the thickness of individual parts of the equipment was calculated using formulas,
    10. test program, if the thickness of equipment parts was determined by an experimental method,

INITIAL INSPECTION

Equipment, including its fittings, must undergo an initial inspection before being put into service, which consists of:

  • verification of conformity with the approved type
  • inspection of design characteristics
  • inspection of external and internal condition
  • hydraulic pressure test
  • leakage test and functional check of fittings

Scope of Required Documentation

  • applicant’s data
  • reference to the type approval certificate or its copy,
  • necessary data specified in the type approval documentation

PERIODIC INSPECTION

Equipment and its fittings must undergo periodic inspections at fixed intervals, which consist of:

  • inspection of external and internal condition
  • hydraulic pressure test
  • leakage test of the equipment with fittings and functional check of fittings – performed at the midpoint of the interval between periodic inspections

Scope of Documentation

  • applicant’s identification data (name, address, etc.)
  • technical documentation to the extent of:
    • document on the initial inspection, if the equipment is to undergo its first regular inspection
    • document on the last regular inspection
    • document on the small regular inspection
    • relevant necessary documentation specified in the type approval documentation

EXTRAORDINARY INSPECTION

This is performed if, due to repair, design modification, or accident, the safety of the tank and its fittings may have deteriorated.

Scope of Documentation

  • applicant’s identification data (name, address, etc.),
  • identification data of the company that performed the repair (name, address, etc.),
  • reference to the type approval certificate or its copy,
  • data specified in the type approval application, if necessary,
  • relevant technical documentation specified in the type approval documentation
