Assessment of Design Documentation – Gas Equipment
Section 5 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Technická inšpekcia, a.s., as an Authorized Legal Entity (ALE), assesses the design documentation of designated gas equipment before its manufacture or installation. This assessment is mandatory for Group A and Group B equipment according to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Content of Submitted Documentation
- Manufacturer’s name, address, and ID number (IČO)
- Equipment characteristics, including classification into a group
- Description and function of the equipment, including basic technical parameters, name of the working medium, its physical and chemical properties, and connection diagrams of the technical equipment regarding input and output parameters of the working medium in all areas, if necessary for completeness of data
- Assembly and main unit drawings
- Calculations of important structural parts
- Documentation on risk assessment, elimination of identified hazards, and identification of unavoidable risks associated with the technical equipment
- List of applicable regulations and standards
- Principles for performing technical equipment tests and success criteria
Technická inšpekcia, a.s. will issue an Expert Opinion on the Documentation if the documentation complies with safety and technical requirements.
