Official Examinations of Gas Equipment
Section 12 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
In accordance with Section 14, Paragraph 1, Letter b) of the Act, Technická inšpekcia, a.s. conducts official examinations of designated gas equipment, including their marking and the issuance of relevant documents, in compliance with legal regulations for ensuring occupational safety and health.
Scope of Official Examination
- Verification that the equipment is constructed according to the certified documentation for which a professional opinion was issued
- Verification of necessary technical data – type designation, characteristics, performance parameters
- Verification of the completeness and authenticity of documents (declarations of conformity, certificates, attestations)
- Verification that the work was performed by an authorized entity in accordance with Section 15 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.
- Verification of personnel qualifications – expert worker, welders, NDT personnel
- Inspection of records from individual activities – construction log, assembly log
- Management and evaluation of equipment testing in accordance with relevant standards
The applicant must ensure the following for the official examination:
- Technical design documentation and proof of its assessment by an authorized legal entity
- Accompanying technical documentation according to Annex No. 3 of Decree of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.
- Records of performed expert inspections and tests
- Equipment prepared for testing according to Section 9, Paragraph 3 of Decree of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.
Verification is performed based on a request.
