Periodic Official Inspections of Lifting Equipment
Section 12 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Technická inšpekcia, a.s. conducts periodic official inspections of designated lifting equipment at regular intervals. A periodic official inspection verifies whether the designated technical equipment meets the conditions for safe and reliable operation and whether it is operated in a safe manner.
The repeated official test is performed
- Within the periods specified in Annex No. 7 to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
- Within the periods according to Annex No. 7 to Decree No. 508/2009 Coll., which are shorter than ten years for some equipment (e.g., after six years)
- Before re-commissioning after being out of service for more than one year, after disassembly and reassembly that may affect the safety status, after reconstruction and repair, or if its use has been prohibited by a labor inspector (Section 9, Paragraph 2, Letter c) of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.).
The applicant shall provide for the test
- Accompanying technical documentation
- Records from performed expert inspections and expert tests
- Other necessary documents (by mutual agreement)
- If necessary, an inspection technician and competent equipment operator
The inspection is performed based on a request.
