An inspection technician for lifting equipment must demonstrate professional competence to perform professional inspections and professional testing of designated lifting equipment. Professional training and examinations are carried out in accordance with Act No. 124/2006 Coll. and Decree of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.
Requirements for Inspection Technicians
- Professional education in the relevant field
- Experience in the field of lifting equipment – at least 2 years for university graduates or at least 5 years for secondary school graduates
- Compliance with requirements according to Section 16(2) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.
- Completion of professional training organized by Technická inšpekcia, a.s.
- Successful completion of the examination before the TI examination board
- Medical fitness
