Official Inspections of Pressure Equipment
Section 12 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.
Technická inšpekcia, a.s. performs official inspections in accordance with Section 14(1)(b) of the Act, pursuant to legal regulations for ensuring occupational health and safety for classified pressure equipment, including their marking and the issuance of relevant documents.
Scope of the Official Inspection
- Verification that the equipment is constructed according to certified documentation for which an expert opinion has been issued
- Verification of required technical data – type designation, characteristics, performance parameters
- Verification of the completeness and authenticity of documents (declarations of conformity, certificates, test reports)
- Verification that the work was performed by an authorized entity according to Section 15 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.
- Verification of personnel qualifications – specialist, welders, NDT personnel
- Review of records from individual activities – construction log, assembly log
- Management and evaluation of equipment testing in accordance with relevant STN standards
The applicant shall provide for the official inspection
- Technical design documentation and proof of its assessment by an authorized legal entity
- Accompanying technical documentation according to Annex No. 3 of Decree of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.
- Records of performed professional inspections and tests
- Competent, qualified operators for the respective equipment
Verification is performed based on an application.
