Certification activity

This Directive shall apply to:

  1. the lifts permanently serving buildings and constructions and intended for the transport of persons or persons and goods or goods alone in the carrier is accessible, that is to say a person may enter it without difficulty, and fitted with controls situated inside the carrier or within reach of a person inside the carrier
  2. the safety components for lifts listed in Annex III for use in the lifts referred to in point a)

Technická inšpekcia, a. s., (Notify Body No. 1354) performs conformity assessment of lifts and safety components for lifts according to the Directive 2014/33/EU of European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to lifts and safety components for lifts is carried out in the following range:

  1. EU-type examination of safety components for lifts according to the Annex IV part A (module B)
  2. EU-type examination of lifts according to the Annex IV part B (module B)
  3. Final inspection for lifts according to the Annex V
  4. Conformity to type based on product quality assurance for safety components for lifts according to the Annex VI (module E)
  5. Conformity based on full quality assurance for safety components for lifts according to the Annex VII (module H)
  6. Conformity based on unit verification for lifts according to the Annex VIII (module G)
  7. Conformity to type with random checking for safety components for lifts according to the Annex IX (module C2)
  8. Conformity to type based on product quality assurance for lifts according to the Annex X (module E)
  9. Conformity based on full quality assurance plus design examination for lifts according to the Annex XI (module H1)
  10. Conformity to type based on production quality assurance for lifts according to the Annex XII (module D).
